I currently have a glass roof conservatory and am interested in changing to the solid roof. Would I need to obtain planning permission to do this?

Planning is not required to change your conservatory roof, but building control approval is recommended. The Supalite Warm Roof has full LABC approval, and this will help with speeding up the process. Supalite also has a special rate with local authorities.
